Blends with a light fog

 

As you look through a blurry window,

Your thoughts begin to fade

Drops of rain tap,

On wooden surfaces

Like a curious child

With a small kick drum

The patterns of sound

Overtake the voice that keeps you up,

And the rainy dew,

Clears the smoke in your mind

 

And the harmony of rain and fog

Creates a blue energy

That keeps you company

As you drift away,

Like a big sister

Reading you a book

Or singing you

A lullaby
